Dr. Andria Glasser Das is a licensed psychologist. Originally from Chicago,
Dr. Glasser Das graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a
degree in Psychology. She obtained a Master's degree from the University of
Illinois at Champaign/Urbana in Cognitive Psychology, during which time she
studied visual attention in 3-dimensional space and haptic perception. Her
doctorate in Clinical Psychology is from the California School of Professional
Psychology and her dissertation on the use of online support groups for anxiety
disorders was one of the earliest research studies on the use of computer technology
in the treatment of psychological disorders.
After earning her degree, Dr. Glasser Das spent several years as an at-home mom to
her two daughters. During this time, she worked as a contributing writer for Los
Angeles Family Magazine and also began research for her upcoming book "Marriage After
Motherhood," an exploration of the impact of children on the marital relationship.
Her two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Psycho-Educational Diagnostic Services
Program at the Reiss-Davis Child Study Center provided training in all aspects of
child and adolescent assessment.
Since completing her fellowship training, Dr. Glasser Das has provided assessment
services for The Learning Center Foundation, Foundation ThinkAgain, Aviva Family and
Children's Services and the Violence Intervention Program. She also sees clients in
private practice for assessment, couples counseling, and individual counseling.
In her spare time, Dr. Glasser Das enjoys writing, hiking, and spending time
with her husband, children and dogs.
